Ďakujeme, že ste sa rozhodli prezentovať na konferencii MatFyz CONNECTIONS.

Cieľom konferencie je vytvoriť priestor pre odbornú diskusiu naprieč celou fakultou. Budeme radi, ak sa vo svojej prezentácii zameriate na vaše najvýznamnejšie výsledky z posledných rokov. Odporúčame klásť dôraz najmä na ich význam, prínos a možnosti využitia. Takto bude váš príspevok zrozumiteľnejší širšiemu matfyzáckemu publiku.

Uvítame, ak budú vaše postery pripravené v angličtine. Samotnú prezentáciu posteru počas konferencie však môžete prispôsobiť jazyku poslucháčov, ktorí sa pri vás pristavia.

Ak bol váš príspevok prijatý ako poster, máte k dispozícii šablóny v Google Slides (s možnosťou stiahnutia vo formáte PowerPoint) aj v LaTeXu. Odporúčaný rozmer posteru je 647 × 915 mm, čo zodpovedá rozmerom panelov dostupných na fakulte.

Radi uvítame aj postery, ktoré ste už prezentovali na iných fórach. Šablóny môžete upraviť podľa potreby, odporúčame však dodržať uvedené rozmery. Ak máte poster iného formátu, nevadí – určite nájdeme spôsob, ako ho vhodne vystaviť.

Technické informácie:

• Pre postery odporúčame zvoliť  rozlíšenie na 300 dpi (mali by ste získať  bitmapu s rozlíšením cca 7641x10804). Pri nižších nárokoch na grafiku postačuje aj  200 dpi (cca 5100x7200).
• Dajte si pozor aj na rozlíšenie vložených obrázkov.
• Poster vyexportujte ako PNG, nie JPG, nedôjde k strate kvality.
• Z Google Slides odporúčame exportovať najprv do PDF a následne v   nejakom vhodnom grafickom programe (napr. GIMP) vyexportovať PNG s požadovaným rozlíšením.

Ak budete patriť medzi tých pár účastníkov, ktorých príspevok bol prijatý ako plenárna prezentácia, budeme vás čoskoro samostatne kontaktovať.

Tlač plagátov bude zabezpečená do 17. novembra 2025. Po tomto dátume si budete musieť zabezpečiť vlastnú tlač.

Instruction for autors

We are pleased that you decided to present at MatFyz CONNECTIONS. The goal of this conference is to create a forum for the entire faculty. We will appreciate if you present your best results from recent years. At the same time, we ask that you consider to put forward  the actual meaning and the potential use of your results instead of very involved details. Your presentation will thus be accessible to a wider scientific public (i.e., in this case, formed by the members of our faculty).

We also kindly suggest to use English on your posters. You can then accustom the verbal presentation of the poster at the conference to the language of the listeners who will come to see it.

We have prepared a poster template in Google Slides (you can also download the Powerpoint version one you open the file in Google Slides) and also a poster template in LaTeX. The poster template has the dimensions of 647x915 mm, which is given by the poster panels that we have at the faculty. You can also come with a finished poster that you have already presented elsewhere. You can modify the poster template as needed, but we recommend keeping the size. If you come with an existing poster of a different size, it doesn't matter, we will find a way to display it.

If you are among the few participants whose contribution was accepted as a plenary presentation, we will contact you shortly separately.

Poster printing will be ensured until November 17, 2025. After this date, you will need to arrange for printing of your own.
