See the most beautiful sights of Bratislava from the waters of the Danube. During the 45-minute cruise, you can enjoy views of Bratislava’s historic centre, its riverbanks, and Bratislava Castle. The cruise continues under the SNP Bridge – a bridge without supporting pillars, suspended from an asymmetrical pylon and one of the city’s main landmarks – all the way to the Lanfranconi Bridge, where the boat turns around. On the right bank of the Danube, the Janko Kráľ Garden stands out, and at the end of the cruise, in the stretch between the Old Bridge and the Apollo Bridge, you can admire both sides of the Danube, including the city’s new modern district with Slovakia’s first skyscraper.

Exit the main pavilion of the Faculty (FMFI UK) and walk down the hill/path towards the main road (Karloveská).

Head to the tram stop named Botanická záhrada. It is roughly a 5 to 7-minute walk from the faculty building.

Board Tram line 4 heading in the direction of Zlaté piesky or Stn. Nové Mesto.

Stay on the tram for 5 stops (approx. 8 minutes).

You will pass through the tunnel under the castle. Get off at the stop called Most SNP.

Once you hop off the tram at Most SNP, walk towards the Danube River.

Turn left onto the promenade (Rázusovo nábrežie) and walk downstream (with the river on your right, heading toward the Slovak National Gallery / Hotel Devín)
